No function OS X upgrade to Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite

When using MAYA44 USB after an upgrade to OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion), to OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) it might happen, that the device cannot be selected anymore inside your audio application and/or no playback and recording is possible.

This issue typically appears when our driver version 2.1.0 has been installed before the upgrade. This driver does not work anymore under OS X 10.8, OS X 10.9 or OS X 10.10 and is not required, so it should be removed and uninstalled. To do this, you might need to download our driver package version 2.1.0 from our website again - not to install anything from it, but to use the included uninstaller in that package. If you have problems launching the uninstaller, have a look here.

For OS X 10.8 you can find additional information here, for OS X 10.9 here and for OS X 10.10 here.

If you did not make the OS X upgrade yet, it is better to remove the driver before you do so.
