Can I use UGM192 with iPad or iPhone?

Yes, UGM192 is a perfect professional audio interface for mobile recording of microphone and guitar signals with extremely high audio quality. You can use it with meassurement microphones, for guitar jamming and much more.

To connect it to an iPhone or iPad, you need to use the "Camera Connection" Lightning to USB adapter from Apple. Please note that we recommend to use the original adapter from Apple to make sure there are no compatiblity issues. Then you plug use the USB-C to USB-A cable that is included with UGM192 to connect the interface.

Since UGM192 will require more power than what the iPhone/iPad can provide (especially when using a condenser microphone with 48V phantom power turned on), you can use the micro USB connector of UGM192 (which is labeled USB POWER) and connect an external USB power supply or a USB battery pack to it. You can also use the higher level Lightning to USB adapter from Apple that has a separate Lightning input available, to be able to charge your iPhone / iPad at the same time.

If you have an iPad Pro that has a USB-C connector, you can connect UGM192 directly to it with the included USB-C to USB-C cable.
