What is Bitwig Studio 8-Track and how can I use it?

Bitwig Studio 8-Track is the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that is included with many of our USB Audio Interfaces.

It is the trim and effective digital audio workstation to start producing, performing, and designing sounds like a pro. 8-Track includes a large selection of Bitwig devices for use on up to eight project tracks with audio or MIDI, including the Bitwig Essentials Package, a versatile selection of handpicked presets and sounds. So, plug in your controller, record your instrument, produce simple arrangements, design new sounds, or just jam. Bitwig Studio 8-Track is the sketch pad for your musical ideas featuring the acclaimed workflow of Bitwig Studio.

If you have never worked with Bitwig before, you can start by watching the beginner tutorials Bitwig provides on their YouTube page (for instance, this clip shows how to use the Dashboard, how to play notes on your computer keyboard and how to connect an external controller). Essentially you can start using Bitwig Studio 8-Track directly after you have selected the CoreAudio (OS X / macOS) or ASIO (Windows) driver of your ESI audio hardware in the Bitwig audio settings dialog.

As the name suggests, Bitwig Studio 8-Track is a software that includes the possibility to work with 8 tracks. An upgrade to Bitwig Studio is possible anytime and opens the door to more tracks and to the complete Bitwig Studio Sound Content Library.
