We often get asked about the output signals the headphone output of our U46
series of audio interfaces (U46DJ,
U46 SE and U46
XL) is sending out. The headphone output always sends out a mix of all output
channels (1/2, 3/4 and 5/6). This makes it good for headphone monitoring in
a typical recording setup, but in computer DJ setups it can be seen as a limitation
and you might need to use an external DJ mixer or separate headphone amplifier
or a decent headphone connected to one of the line outputs instead.
