Can I use MIDI nTour CX with iPhone 5 / iPad mini?
MIDI nTour CX features a 30pin connector and is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S as well as the 3rd and 4th generations of iPod touch and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation of iPad by directly connecting the cable the the iOS device. Later iOS devices such as iPhone 5 (and higher), iPad mini or the later iPod touch and iPad models no longer have a 30pin connector.
Apple offers an optional 30pin to Lightning adapter. We have tested MIDI nTour CX with this adapter and we can confirm that this combination works.
